- Claim the Pot: After your win is confirmed, the full prize pot (minus platform fees) is added to your winnings balance.

- Report Your Win: If you win, you must come back and "Report Outcome" with a screenshot as proof.
- Get Your Winnings: Once confirmed, the prize pot (minus fees) is added to your "Pending Winnings" for withdrawal.

Nunua Chai is a platform built specifically for Kenyan creators. It allows you to receive support from your fans through one-time "chai" donations, sell digital products or services in your shop, and compete in "Winner Takes All" matches, all powered directly by M-Pesa.
How do I get paid?
All your earnings are collected in your Nunua Chai wallet. You can request a withdrawal at any time from your Creator Dashboard. The funds will be sent directly to your registered M-Pesa number. Withdrawals are processed every weekday (Monday-Friday) between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM EAT, excluding public holidays.
What is the 20% platform fee?
The 20% fee is an all-inclusive charge. It covers the M-Pesa pay-in transaction fees from your fans, the M-Pesa withdrawal (payout) fees to your number, server hosting, and all platform development and maintenance. There are no hidden costs or monthly subscriptions.
How does the "Winner Takes All" feature work?
A creator can start a match with a set entry fee (e.g., Ksh 100). Another user can then join that match by paying the same fee. The total prize pot (e.g., Ksh 200) is held by the platform. The two players compete, and the winner claims the prize. The winner receives 80% of the total pot (in this case, Ksh 160), and the platform retains 20% as its fee.
Is it free to start?
Yes! It's 100% free to create a page and start receiving support. You only pay the 20% platform fee on the revenue you successfully generate. If you don't earn anything, you don't pay anything.
